1) Conference Overview

This is the opening address for the Business of Humanity® conference titled, “Energizing Human and Economic Development: Leveraging the Power of DC Technology.”  This conference took place from April 7-9, 2016 at the Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh.  In this address, Dr. John Camillus and Dr. Bopaya Bidanda discuss the Business of Humanity® Project and the DC HEART (Direct Current for Humanity, Energy and Regional Transformation) Initiatives. 

2) Welcome Address

This is the welcome address given by Dr. Alberta Sbragia, Vice Provost for Graduate Studies at the University of Pittsburgh, for the Business of Humanity® conference titled, “Energizing Human and Economic Development: Leveraging the Power of DC Technology.”  This conference took place from April 7-9, 2016 at the Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh.

3) Keynote Speaker – Dr. Archana Hingorani

This is a keynote speech given by Dr. Archana Hingorani, CEO and Executive Director of IL&FS Investment Managers Ltd., for the Business of Humanity® conference titled, “Energizing Human and Economic Development: Leveraging the Power of DC Technology.”  This conference took place from April 7-9, 2016 at the Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh.

4) Keynote Speaker – Dr. Ashok Jhunjhunwala

This is a keynote speech given by Dr. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Head of TeNet at the Indian Institute for Technology, Madras, for the Business of Humanity® conference titled, “Energizing Human and Economic Development: Leveraging the Power of DC Technology.”  This conference took place from April 7-9, 2016 at the Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh.
