W. Timothy Few has a Ph.D. degree in strategic management as well as an MBA degree from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. Prior to earning his doctorate degree, Tim served in various private sector leadership positions including acting/interim CEO, president, COO, Director of Human Resources and board of directors member. He left the private sector to pursue his passions for strategy and teaching/coaching. Tim has taught college level courses for over ten years at various institutions including the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania State University, La Roche College and Edinboro University. Currently, he is an Associate Professor and former Chair of the Department of Business and Economics at Edinboro University. He teaches courses in various areas of business including strategy, business ethics, entrepreneurship, leadership, management, business communication and human resource management. His research focuses on the areas of organizational identity, organizational identification, competitor identification, and top management teams, which have led to publications in the Journal of Labor Research, International Journal of Business Environment, Competitiveness Review and the European Journal of International Management as well as presentations at the Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society. Dr. Few also is a founding member of Core Strategies Consulting, LLC and provides business coaching services to those in leadership and management positions, as well as to both profit and nonprofit organizations.
